The Climate Action Network (CAN) is a global network of over 1,900 civil society organizations that work to fight the climate crisis. While CAN itself is a large-scale advocacy and coordination body, it helps teenagers (and youth in general) in several ways, often through its member organizations and by creating platforms for youth engagement:
- Amplifying Youth Voices: CAN works to ensure that youth voices are heard in high-level climate events and dialogues, such as UN climate talks (COPs). They facilitate youth participation in decision-making processes.
- Supporting Youth-Led Initiatives: Many of CAN's member organizations, or other affiliated groups like the UNESCO Youth Climate Action Network,
